Facing the situation of disease outbreak caused by Corona virus, on Feb 3rd in Hanoi, idsMED Vietnam offered staff a training session on how to prevent respiratory diseases caused by nCoV virus, presented by idsMED Vietnam’s doctors. Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Ha - Senior Director of Hanoi branch and the doctors pointed out the following important notes:

👉 Strengthen your own health by: Eating and drinking foods with high level of vitamin C, having lots of green vegetables as well as food that enhance resistance such as garlic, ginger ...

👉 Moderate your sleeping habit, do not stay up late.

👉 regularly drink warm water.

👉 Disinfect hands with proper hand washing using disinfectant solution.

👉 Clean your nose and throat with warm saltwater and disinfectant solution.

👉 Eat only well-cooked food.

👉 Wear a face mask when you go out.

👉 Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth; when coughing and sneezing, cover mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue.

👉 People who have to work at hospitals must wear face masks, protective clothing, disinfecting hands, and wearing gloves.

On the same day, at idsMED South, as an experienced doctor in bacterial infections, Dr Nguyen Quoc Tuan - Senior Director of HCM branch has shared some preventative measures to prevent coronavirus for yourself and others from getting sick. He also said that wearing mask can only reduce the risk of spreading germs/diseases and not preventing diseases 100%.

Prevention is better than cure, hopefully with this helpful sharing, idsMED Vietnam staff will be more proactive in preserving our health as well as those around us.
