On 11 & 12 January in Hanoi, the National Congress of Vietnamese Society of Ultrasound in Medicine 2019 attracted the attention of many domestic & foreign medical doctors and Diagnostic Imaging specialists.

Having set foot in Vietnam since the 70s, the Vietnam ultrasound industry has grown rapidly, strongly and gradually transformed into a designation and specialized department. According to Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Duy Hue, the development of ultrasound devices help identify the problem and contribute significantly to the treatment of patients.

The conference has the attendance of the current president of the World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine & Biology (WFUMB), Prof. Christian Nolsoe. Former President of AFSUMB, Prof. Seung Hyup Kim also contributed a presentation on the difficulties of evaluating kidney tumors by ultrasound. In addition, the conference also conducted many high-quality hand-on classes under the guidance of guest lecturers from WFUMB, KSUM and two French experts.



In particular, guests were able to experience the Philips Lumify when visiting idsMED Vietnam’s booth with images transmitted directly via a tablet.
