On 26 August 2021, idsMED Singapore held its Annual Awards & Appreciation 2021 (AAA) ceremony. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, idsMED Singapore was not able to give recognition to its long serving employees last year. Hence, awardees from both 2020 and 2021 were honoured in this year’s ceremony which was held via a hybrid of virtual and in-person event.
The event kicked off with the welcome speech by Vasanthi Supurmaniyam, Managing Director & SVP – Singapore. This was followed by Catherine Thia, Senior Manager – HR who explained the true significance of the AAA to recognise and reward loyal employees. Employees who have completed 5 years of service and its multiples of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 years, etc., are eligible for the award, including those who joined idsMED through acquisition and upon completing one year of service with idsMED.
After Catherine’s speech, the next speech was virtual, all the way from Hong Kong, for our Group CEO & Founding Partner, Ben Chang, to share his inspiring message in which he expressed how he wished he were present to personally present the awardees their gold coins.
For the 2020 & 2021 long service award, a total of 29 employees received their awards for the respective categories, namely:
5-year service

10-year service
Bernard Wong, Jessie Seah, Tan Hooi Mooi, Michael Pan, Eva Ng, Bobby Chua, Peh Kian San
20-year service
Eileen Lim, Jorah Mohd Yunor, Rita Teo
25-year service
Lee Leng Leng, Linda Ng
30-year service
Sally Ng, Lee Siang Peng
45-year service
Teo Chin Koon, Lok Lu Lu
In addition to the Long Service Awards, 4 employees received the HEART award. This an annual country award to recognise colleagues who have demonstrated exceptional behaviours in delivering our Promise of "We Care with a HEART because your life matters".
These individuals were identified as genuinely living up to the observable standards set in our OUTREACH initiative – Care, Happy, Engaging, Approachable, Responsible, Trustworthy.

Leonard Ling, Regional Managing Director & EVP closed the event with some inspiring words, and the finale of traditional champagne popping was followed by Happy Hour with lots of food, drinks and photo-taking!
