After a three-year hiatus due to the COVID pandemic, the ISUOG (International Society of Ultrasound in O&G) Approved Course was back with Singapore as its host. This 17th edition of the course was held in conjunction with the 9th Scientific Meeting of the COGS (College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists).
idsMED Singapore participated as a Platinum Sponsor in the event held from 17 to 19 November 2023 at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore. The joint scientific programme covered pertinent topics such as peripartum medicine, gynaecological oncology, urogynaecology, reproductive medicine and gynaecology for a diverse audience of medical professionals, including general obstetrician-gynaecology doctors, maternal-fetal doctors, and generalists.
Distinguished international speakers, including Professor Laurent Salomon (France), Professor Yves Ville (France), Professor Jonathan Hyett (Australia), Professor Dario Paladini (Italy), Professor Gustavo Malinger (Israel), Professor Shih Jin Chung (Taiwan), Professor Liona Poon (Hong Kong) and Professor Won Hye Sung (South Korea), were invited to share their expertise in the relevant topics during the three-day event.
Based on a clinical theme, each session commenced with a plenary lecture delivered by esteemed experts which was then followed by talks from the local faculty relevant to the theme. The programme also featured presentations of interesting clinical cases, facilitating discussions between local and international experts through ultrasound demonstrations and hands-on ultrasound workshops.
In addition to the enlightening talks, lectures and workshops, the event showcased related products, allowing attendees to gain hands-on experience and learn more about the products they have an interest in. Representatives from idsMED Singapore and GE Healthcare were present at the booth to engage with the visitors.
An insightful meeting like this not only fosters a clearer understanding of attendees’ enquiries but, more importantly, provides exhibitors with the opportunity to forge sustainable connections whilst showcasing innovative solutions relevant to the field.
