On 5 April 2024, idsMED Singapore welcomed business school students from Fung Foundation’s partner universities in Singapore who are part of their one-semester exchange programme. Recipients of the Fung Scholarships, known as Fung Scholars (or Fung Fellows for the post-graduates) are chosen based on their academic excellence and leadership potential.
At the idsMED Learning Academy, Mr. Shrikanth Sankar, SVP & MD – idsMED Singapore kickstarted the event by giving an overview of idsMED Singapore. Following his presentation, Mr. Srikant Lal, MD – Group Buying & Supply Chain, walked the students through the management of idsMED’s medical supply chain.
After a short break, the students were given a corporate tour by the HR Team around the office.
It was a valuable and insightful session for the students as the presenters answered their queries by sharing real-world situations and experiences.
One participant remarked, “I really enjoyed myself and it was very insightful for me to learn more about medical supply chain management. Super interesting and the presenters were really thorough. Thank you for having us.”
It was a great pleasure to have the students at idsMED Singapore and the opportunity to share experiences with them. Here’s wishing the students a hopeful start to their careers!
