Hand hygiene has become more prevalent due to the increasing need for hand-washing compliance in the current healthcare ecosystem.
In collaboration with Ecolab, idsMED Singapore organised a dinner engagement event for Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) from the infection control specialty at the idsMED Learning Academy on 18 October 2022.
Mr. Theis Jensen, CEO and Co-founder of Sani Nudge, was invited as Guest Speaker to share his experience on hand hygiene culture and compliance, with reference to international norms, as well as the latest innovation in electronic hand hygiene compliance monitoring – specifically on improving patient safety with an evidence-based approach.
The Sani Nudge solution helps prevent healthcare-associated infections by improving the staff member’s hand hygiene culture and compliance. This is done by utilising actionable data insight which proves that infections are reduced by up to 67%, consequently reducing short-term sick leave benefits by up to 39%. Sani Nudge is the only solution to provide clinically validated data on hand hygiene compliance according to the World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines, which makes it the most preferred solution by most countries worldwide.
The event kickstarted with a welcome address by Mr. Benoit Biousse, Healthcare Division Manager at Ecolab. In his speech, he explained how Ecolab has been optimising processes across multiple touchpoints and providing comprehensive support to hospitals. The welcome address was followed by Mr. Jensen’s presentation, which involved insightful exchanges with the KOLs.
Highlighted among the infection control products displayed during the event was the star of the night – the Sani Sensor. To further explain the unique features of the Sani Sensor, product demonstrations were conducted by the idsMED team.
Kudos to idsMED Singapore for another successful and engaging event!
