idsMED Acquires Vinh Duc Construction and Trading JSC

We are delighted to announce that the acquisition of the medical device distribution business of Vinh Duc Construction and Trading JSC (Vinh Duc) was successfully completed on 1 May 2019.

Vinh Duc was established in 2010 by Ms. Vu Thi Kim Dung (Ms. Kim) and her husband. The company specializes in implant in spine and arthroscopy products as well as surgical instruments and microscope. More recently the company venture into robotic surgical system for orthopedic (hip & knee) and spine surgery. Vinh Duc became the pioneer in Vietnam for introducing robotic surgical system and established a strong reputation in this area. The headquarters of Vinh Duc is located in Ho Chi Minh City, with two branches in Hanoi and Da Nang.

The acquisition will bring not just idsMED Vietnam, but also the idsMED Group, into the segment of robotic surgery as well as orthopedics. It will position idsMED Vietnam in the frontier of medical technology market.
