idsMED Acquires Duc Nguyen Service Trading Co. Ltd.

We are delighted to announce that the acquisition of the medical device distribution business of Duc Nguyen Service Trading Co. Ltd. (Duc Nguyen) was successfully completed on 1 May 2019.

Duc Nguyen was established on 27th October 2007 by Nguyen Tan Duc (Mr. Duc) and his wife Tran Thuy Linh Chi (Ms. Chi) with headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City. The company specializes in the supply of Medical Equipment to the Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Room, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Operating Room. Duc Nguyen has a strong reputation with its excellent engineering service, knowledgeable field team and emphasis on continued medical education. Over the years, Duc Nguyen has grown its business with increased geographical coverage.

This acquisition is a significant addition to idsMED Vietnam as Duc Nguyen’s equipment-centric business complements well with the existing idsMED team in Ho Chi Minh City which focuses on clinical consumables. Duc Nguyen’s strength in Mekong Delta region will also enhance the coverage of idsMED Vietnam’s existing business and penetrate deeper into the region.
