From 27 February to 2 March 2025, the 19th St. Jude-VIVA Forum, featuring renowned world speakers, was conducted in a hybrid format. The forum focused on Liquid Tumours, including leukemias, immunotherapy, and hematopoetic stem-cell transplantation, as well as Solid Tumours, with an emphasis on Central Nervous System Tumours.
As part of the event, the 1st St. Jude-VIVA Paediatric Neurosurgical Oncology Symposium 2025 brought together practising neurosurgeons, paediatric medical specialists and allied health professionals from Southeast Asian countries, including Singapore.
On 1 March 2025, idsMED Singapore showcased a range of products that can assist professionals in managing supratentorial and infratentorial tumours in paediatric patients at the KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital Auditorium in Singapore.
The Critical and Surgical Care teams, together with the Medical Specialty Care (MSC) team, were present at idsMED Singapore’s booth. They engaged with Dr. Sharon Low, organising chair and Head of the Neurosurgical Service at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore, and other interested professionals, discussing the solutions idsMED offers while exchanging views and insights.
This symposium fostered inter-professional collaboration, allowing experts to share their knowledge in improving outcomes for children with brain tumours. It also provided an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals and industry partners to network and collaborate—all sharing the same goal of enhancing medical care and the quality of life for these children.
