idsMED Acquires Medical Distribution Business Under Moonyeen Holdings

We are delighted to announce the acquisition of the medical device distribution businesses of Moonyeen Holdings Inc. and its subsidiaries including Fernando Medical Enterprises Inc., Biodevices Inc., Biosolutions Inc. and Life Care Technologies (collectively MHI).

MHI was established in March 1991 by Mr. Rafael (Rafy) Fernando. The Company’s initial product portfolio was focused on Cardiovascular Surgery. Over the years MHI’s product portfolio greatly expanded into various specialty care segments and eventually Rafy Fernando decided to set up different sales companies in order to maintain focus and clear operational/financial accountabilities on different lines of products.
 

The acquisition will significantly enhance the scale of idsMED’s medical business in the Philippines and expand idsMED Philippines’ coverage in the medical specialty care segments of Cardiovascular, Diagnostic Imaging and Intensive Care.
