idsMED Thailand Takes Centre Stage at the Ministry of Health’s Annual Meeting

Dr. Opas Karnkawinpong, Permanent Secretary of Thailand’s Ministry of Health, led the executive team and other officials in the annual meeting at the University of Phayao on 19 December 2023. Whilst significant discussions and policies were highlighted during the meeting, idsMED Thailand’s booth stood out as the standout booth capturing MOH’s attention. idsMED showcased budget-friendly medical equipment, solidifying its role in shaping healthcare innovations.

Last Tuesday, 19 December 2023 Dr. Opas Karnkawinpong, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health (MOH), led the executive team and other officials in the 1/2024 meeting at the University of Phayao, Phayao Province. The event was organised by the Office of the Permanent Secretary and Provincial Ministry of Public Health.

The primary focus of the meeting was to underscore the importance of implementing operations in line with 13 expedited policies. These policies encompass various crucial aspects such as the Vigilance Centre for the well-being of the elderly and patients in need, Tourist Safety, Psychiatry and Drugs, comprehensive cancer treatment, and the initiative of a single ID card for treatment across different locations. In addition, emphasis was placed on prioritizing cybersecurity across all service units, with a dual backup system, both online and offline. Notably, the event saw the participation of the 13 Regions Healthcare offices.

idsMED showcased its offerings at the event, drawing interest and leaving a positive impression on the Permanent Secretary and the executive team. Amongst the 30 pop-up booths, idsMED stood out as the only booth that captured the attention of the MOH team, much to the delight of the idsMED crew. idsMED Thailand seized the opportunity to promote medical equipment within the government budget range, such as the Auto CPR, Ultrasound, and Ventilator. The team also expressed their eagerness to collaborate with the Ministry of Health and provincial offices, with 200 sets of product catalogues prepared for distribution to all attendees.

idsMED Thailand also presented the medical solutions to all the hospital directors, expressing anticipation for potential collaboration with them. The overall atmosphere was one of enthusiasm and optimism as idsMED continues to strive for meaningful partnerships and contributions in the healthcare sector.
