idsMED Thailand was among one of the 73 winners of the HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2023 Award. This recognition reinforces the company’s commitment to prioritising its human resources.
On the evening of 22 September 2023, Mr. Paithoon Pureethip, Managing Director and SVP of idsMED Thailand, along with a team of executives and 9 employees represented the company at the Gala Dinner to accept the award at True Icon Hall, Icon Siam. It was an honour to be at the prestigious event and everyone was impeccably dressed for this special occasion, as shared by Mr. Nattapol Kong Im, HR Manager.
For this year, a total of 285 companies in Thailand vied for the awards, and idsMED Thailand emerged as one of the distinguished 73 awardees. The selection process adhered to stringent criteria, encompassing two important factors:
1) Employee Input: First and foremost, the opinions of current employees played a pivotal role. To ensure a representative and comprehensive sample, the selection process considered various demographic factors, including age, gender, years of service, position levels within the organization (seniority), and departmental functions. The scores derived from these employees’ feedback were then compared against the averages gathered from all participating companies, carrying a significant weightage of up to 90%.
2) HR Audits: Secondly, a thorough examination of the company’s human resource policies and practices, known as HR Audits, was conducted. This evaluation sought to identify the extent to which the company prioritized its employees across various aspects. This component held a weightage of 10% in the evaluation process.
The process of soliciting opinions from the current employees aligns with the renowned TEAM concept or Total Engagement Assessment Model, employed by HR Asia. This process covers a comprehensive assessment that delves into all aspects of employees’ experiences, further divided into three distinct parts, namely:
1) CORE: COLLECTIVE ORGANISATION FOR REAL ENGAGEMENT
a. Culture & Ethics
b. Leadership & Organization
c. Active Initiatives
2) SELF: HEART, MIND & SOUL
a. Emotional Engagement (Heart)
b. Intention & Motivation (Mind)
c. Behavior & Advocacy (Soul)
3) GROUP: THINK, FEEL & DO
a. Collective Consciousness (Think)
b. Workplace Sentiment (Feel)
c. Team Dynamics (Do)
