idsMED Malaysia Supported The Halyard Case Study Competition

HUSM has won the Halyard Case Study Competition last year. This competition is supported by idsMED Malaysia.

The study is about a ventilated patient at HUSM’s ICU having a better recovery outcome and benefits from using Turbo Close Suction (manufactured by Halyard, previously known as Kimberly Clark), which can reduce bacteria colonization by 89% at the catheter tip and prevent PEEP and lung tidal volume lost during suction.
