idsMED Malaysia Annual Country Meeting & Annual Award and Appreciation 2018

The day began with energetic cheering session led by an Indonesian colleague, Tommy. After that all participants were energized to continue with our beloved CEO Ben Chang’s Townhall in idsMED Malaysia Education Room. Ben shared the entire Group’s performance, strategic initiatives, and his vision and direction of what he felt idsMED Malaysia could achieve in 2018/2019. Calling it not a Quantum leap but a Tsunami leap, Ben mentioned that although Malaysia had a roughest year in 2017, FY2018/2018 is a great transformative enabling year. He expressed his hopes and the actions needed for the Malaysia team to aim high and go big as one in 2018, we must deliver results with a missionary zeal.
 
Following the Townhall is the ACM which was chaired by Rufi Susanto, President – Core Market. Rufi shared about this year’s theme for Malaysia - “DOM1NATE” – to dominate the medical market in Malaysia as 1 home, 1 family. He emphasized on this year’s effort to grow with a million dreams as one big family. The rest of the afternoon is then followed by business presentations by Joey Lee, Sunny Lim, Allan Ang, Danny and Bryan.
 
In the evening, the entire Malaysian team then dressed up and started heading to a nearby hotel venue for the Annual Award & Appreciation night. The gala night opened with an inspiring dance performance of “This is Me” by some idsMED team members. After the performance, we took time to appreciate staff who have served idsMED Malaysia for more than 5, 10, and 15 years. As a first, 2018 also witnessed three new Award categories: CEO Award, HEART Award and Life Time Achievement Award honoring outstanding contributions by selected staff members.
 
Day 2 of the Annual Country Meeting is dedicated for team building activities. Again, all participants had a cheering session before the team building. However this time was led by Tommy and Kamal. The team building started with sharing sessions by Danny Pradhana, Martin Darmawan & Agus Pudjo. After lunch was where all the fun began where we were separated into the 4 main sports team. Every team had to go through 8 stations with different tasks and challenges. To end the day, we invited the Malaysian’s Military Force to do a sharing on “Quality in Management : Leading and motivating employees” followed by designing our very own idsMED Malaysia war cry.

We finished off this year’s ACM & AAA stronger and more motivated as one big team. Malaysian team will DOM1NATE as ONE!
