idsMED Thailand Annual Country Meeting & Annual Award and Appreciation 2018

On the evening of 8th March 2018, the Management and Staff of idsMED Thailand proudly celebrated the first ever Thailand Annual Award and Appreciation (AAA) event. The only awardee in 2018 was Mr. Stephen Fung who was celebrating a combined total of 10 Years with both the Li & Fung Group and more
latterly idsMED in Thailand.

Having started as Management Trainee under the Li & Fung PMD system (Programme for Management Development), Stephen further progressed his career with LF Logistics in Thailand only to later bring his significant experiences to idsMED Thailand where he took on the vital role of Operations Manager where he took on Sales Operations Management (SOM), Logistics, Inventory Management and Regulatory Affairs. Quite a challenge! As the Thailand companies inaugural awardee, we could not have found a more deserving and long serving candidate.

During the AAA event, we also celebrated both our HEART and CEO awardees for the 2017/2018 financial year. On this occasion, we recognised two HEART awardees (Ms. Pimonpan Thansila & Ms. Sitthinee Kanking) who exemplified and constantly delivered on the “HEART” brand promise of: Happy; Engaging; Approachable; Responsible; Trust-worthy.

The CEO award was then given to Ms. Sarinya Tungjoy (Senior Manager - Principal Relationship Management). Ms. Sarinya received this prestigious award in recognition for managing a broad array of Principal products with both passion and confidence. Amongst the idsMED team in Thailand, Ms. Sarinya is identified as being a very smart and capable operator with both a positive attitude and an open mind towards the business and her colleagues. Ms. Sarinya has a unique ability to win the hearts and minds of those who she works with, and the Thailand team are very comfortable when in her company. Importantly she is always willing to learn new skills while taking on additional challenges. Again, the perfect awardee
for this first occasion of the CEO Award presentation.

A highlight of the evening was a celebration to recognise the earlier Birthday (5th March) of our CEO (Mr. Ben Chang) with the presentation of a Birthday Cake and Sparkling Wine. The day following the AAA event, idsMED Thailand again joined together for the Annual Town Hall Meeting and Business Update where our Group CEO (Mr. Ben Chang) again outlined the 6 Transformational goals that will drive the future success of the company. Immediately following the Town Hall meeting the Thailand team departed to the Chantaburi Province on the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand for a 3-day Annual Country meeting and celebration of this year’s achievements and a discussion on how to further grow the Thailand business for the 2018/19 Financial Year.

In summary a busy and informative week, but a real success for all involved.
