idsMED VietNam Organises The Webinar Series On Diagnostic Imaging

During the 2^nd quarter of FY 2020, idsMED Vietnam, together with the Vietnam Society of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine and Philips, organised a series of webinars on diagnostic imaging.

In October 2020, two of those webinars successfully attracted the participation of nearly 300 doctors nationwide.

The webinar on "Latest Updates on Varicose Veins Ultrasound" took place on October 20, 2020 with MSc. Dr. Vu Thi Hang - Department of Diagnostic Imaging, Viet Duc Friendship Hospital. She shared about varicose veins and the medical device solution to support diagnosis with Philips Affiniti 70 device. 

On 27^th October, the 2^nd webinar themed "3D Echocardiography in Structural Heart Disease" was held under the instruction of PhD MD Nguyen Thi Thu Hoai - Deputy Head of Vietnam National Heart Institute. A hundred participants were given updates on the applications of 3D ultrasound in structural heart disease. They were also given the chance to experience using the Philips QLAB software on a wide variety of congenital defects.

Three more webinars of the series will be organised in the months of November and December 2020 on the following topics: “Application of Artificial Intelligence in Ultrasound to Evaluate Heart Function”, "Cardiovascular Disease Screening”, and "Method of Blocking Nerve for Pain Relief in Musculoskeletal System.”
