This week marks the the end of the first batch of Basic Patient Positioning in Operating Theater Workshop. Our Surgical Workplace team from idsMED Indonesia has been going on a tour of 6 cities (Semarang-Surabaya-Medan-Bandung-Makassar-Jakarta) starting from October 2017, and this week we close the first batch of these workshops in Jakarta. The workshop was opened by dr. Mariana Panjaitan, MPH as idsMED Indonesia Medical Director.
This workshop is meant as an educative program for the customers, in pursuit to become the first and the last look of the customers. We are proud to say that this program is the first to be done by a medical device distribution company in the market, reaching out to more than 500 OT nurses from more than 200 hospitals across the nation, in partnership with the regional Association of OT Nurses in each of the cities.
The workshop focuses on enhancing the skills of the nurses who, on a daily basis, have to deal with patients and their various conditions in the operating theater. We are proud to say that this workshop has brought a more positive attitude towards a better service for the patients. A senior anesthesia nurse from Makassar testified that the workshop has opened his eyes to a safer way in treating the patients in the operating theater.
Surgical workplace team will continue to conduct similar workshops for our customers in the future, in partnership with the Indonesian Association of OT Nurse and their regional offices.
