Andy Rahardja Wins Indonesia Best CFO 2020 Award

idsMED Indonesia is very proud of Andy Rahardja - Director of Finance and RFM, to have won the prestigious award of the best CFO 2020 by SWA magazine. Apart from playing a vital role in the company, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) must be ready to face any volatile financial situation. He must also be an agile and creative digital strategist to help stabilise the company’s financial position.

On December 10th, 2020, SWA magazine hosted a webinar themed "New Role of CFO in Organization’s Heart and Mind" and announced the best CFO 2020 award. The virtual event saw a panelist of CFOs from 11 companies, including Bank BRI, Bank BTN, idsMED Indonesia, and PT. Moratelindo.

Michael Rehfeld - Managing Director of Accenture Strategy, delivered the welcoming speech. He expounded how the role of a CFO could save and keep the company afloat during the pandemic. The panelists also had an opportunity to leverage their knowledge and speak about their roles and challenges as CFO.

Andy made an insightful presentation titled "Changing Role of Finance for Growth During Pandemic" on how a CFO can lead during the COVID-19 situation. He was supported by his other counterparts, Nixon Napitupulu (CFO of Bank BTN), Jimmy Kadir (CFO of Moratelindo), and Haru S. (CFO of Bank BRI). In addition, Andy explained how disruption becomes a challenge for economic and social stabilization, even for supply chain companies. 

Live from Zoom and the SWA YouTube channel, the event had a direct question and answer session for all the speakers.

The finale of the webinar was the announcement of the winners of the award with a showcase of the recipients’ profiles. The ceremony closed with a speech by Prof. Roy Sembel from IPMI Business School.
