idsMED Indonesia Donates to Sulawesi Earthquake-Tsunami Victims

The powerful earthquake and tsunami which devastated Palu and Donggala in Sulawesi, on Friday, September 28, has caused tremendous grieves for Indonesia. The death toll keeps rising sharply day by day, surpassing 1.700 deaths until today. Other than damaged roads, earthquake also caused landslides as well as infrastructure and house destruction. According to The Guardian, a 14-day state of emergency has been declared in Sulawesi. There is also a shortage of food and fuel in the city, with huge queues at petrol stations.

As we promise to CARE with a HEART, idsMED Indonesia, together with Fung Group have shown an altruistic support through donations for Palu and Donggala. We entrust the collected funds to Indonesian Red Cross, which will help us in distributing our donation to victims in need. idsMED Makassar Branch, as the nearest city to Palu and Donggala, also contributed in helping our brothers and sisters in Palu and Donggala, by providing several basic needs, such as foods, drinking water, baby formula, medical supplies, and many more.

This saddened event has taken the lives of too many and devastated their family and friends. We hope that our donation will help to support the victims of this tragedy as they begin to recover and rebuild their lives.
