The Singapore and Malaysia Aesthetics teams conducted their first dermatology-focused webinar on UV skin magnifiers and dermatoscopes on 3 March 2021.

Dermoscopy is an evaluation method used by doctors who care for and manage dermatologic patients with skin lesions, whether benign or malignant. It is also used by doctors who want to improve their skills in the diagnosis of melanoma.

Although there are certified dermoscopy courses that dermatologists, plastic surgeons and aesthetic doctors can attend, such courses could take months/years to complete. That is why a group of about 60 dermatologists decided to join the webinar to get a crash course on dermoscopy. According to the speakers at Wednesday’s seminar, Dr. Ruth Ling and Dr. Benji Teoh, they said the brand carried by idsMED is one of the best in the market.
