IndoHCF-Koseindo Tour D’sabang-Jakarta 3000k Indonesia Sehat: Opening Ceremony At The Km 0

Saturday, 14 October 2017 marked the start of the IndoHCF-KOSEINDO TourD’Sabang-Jakarta 300K Indonesia Sehat. 12 cyclists from KOSEINDO started the tour from The KM 0 Monument in Sabang, Aceh and would take the Group Stage A: Sabang-Tebing Tinggi, a 7-stages journey with a distance of 935.7 kilometers.

The tour was opened by The Mayor of Sabang, Drs. Suradji Yunus, along with dr. Anung Sugiantono M.Kes, Director General of Public Health of the Ministry of Health; Dr. dr. M. Yani, M.Kes, The Deputy of Family Development and Welfare of The National Coordinating Agency of Planned Family (KSPK-BKKBN); drg. R.A. Nora Lelyana, MH.Kes, Head of the Indonesian Naval Health Agency; Brig. Gen. TNI (Ret.) Dr. dr. Supriyantoro, Sp.P, MARS, Head of KOSEINDO and INDOHCF; and Col. DR. dr. Sutrisno, SH. MARS, Chairman of Tour D’Sabang-Jakarta 3000K.

The 12 cyclists - consisted of doctors and men from various military health institutions such as the PUSKES AD (Army Health Center), Rumah Sakit Tentara Soepraoen, Malang (Military Hospital Soepraoen, Malang), KESDAM Aceh (Military Hospital, Aceh), The Naval Dental Institution, Jakarta – will visit community health centers (Puskesmas) and general hospitals in each of the stages in Group Stage A including Lilypori Hospital in Sabang, Teuku Umar General Hospital, Lhoknga Health Center, Calang Health Center, Cut Nya Dien General Hospital, Kabanjahe General Hospital, Sidikalang Health Center, Kumpulan Pane General Hospital and Berastagi Health Center.

The IndoHCF-KOSEINDO Tour De’Sabang 3000K aims to promote healthy living and lifestyle through bike-riding while introducing the cultural diversity of the local communities and the abundance of natural resources that Indonesia has from Sabang to Jakarta. The group of cyclists is expected to arrive in Jakarta on Sunday 12 November 2017 and will be personally welcomed by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Nila Moeloek, during the 53rd National Health Day.

The tour is a collaborative effort from various stakeholders in the healthcare industry, including the Ministry of Health, The National Coordinating Agency of Planned Family (BKKBN), The Health Agency of TNI/ The Indonesian Army Health Agency, local hospitals and regulators. 

IndoHCF, the main sponsor of the event, is an independent non-profit organization fully supported by idsMED Indonesia with an aim to facilitate healthcare education and collaboration among stakeholders in the healthcare industry in Indonesia.

KOSEINDO was formed in December 2014 as a fun and engaging platform for healthcare stakeholders as well as public in general to educate and promote healthy living and lifestyle. The club currently has 1,1125 registered member across Indonesia, including Jakarta, Cirebon, Palembang, Surabaya and Bandung.
