9th Annual Meeting of ISICM in Conjunction with 6th World Sepsis Day

The 9th annual meeting PERDICI (Association of Intensive Care Specialist) or in international relations known as ISICM (Indonesian Society of Intensive Care Medicine) is an activity held once a year with the aim for the renewal of knowledge of intensivist anesthesiologist as well to discuss problems in field of science "Intensive Care Medicine".

In the development of science "Intensive Care Medicine", sepsis became one of the diseases that became the center of attention, because the complexity of dysfunctional organs that occur in humans caused by infection of organs and cause death. In the case of one in three people died by sepsis every hour, intensivist anesthesiologist in the world consider sepsis to be important, and must be immediately overcome.

This event aims is to improve the quality of sepsis management and its critical care. World sepsis day has been held in various city all over Indonesia, and now in 2018, Palembang has a chance to held this campaign.

Numerous scientific meetings will be conducted in the form of workshops, symposiums, and Sepsis Day event. Workshop will be held in 11 -13 September 2018 and 16 -17 September 2018, with the topic of fluid therapy, electrolyte and acid base, management of infection, mechanical ventilation, management of code blue and EWS (by invitation), P-FCCS, secure, continuous replacement therapy, Percutaneous dilatational tracheostomy, critical care for nurse and FCCS. While the Symposium will be held in 14 -15 September 2018 along with poster presentation, the 6th World Sepsis Day will feature WHO Hand Washing activity on 16 September 2018 as the closing activity of the event.

9 Annual Meeting of ISICM conjunction with 6 World Sepsis Day is expected to become an event that can provide benefits and become a high quality scientific activities and quality in accordance with the expected goals.

This year, idsMED supports this event as one of booth exhibitor and also participates in PDT workshops.
