With health education continuing amidst the pandemic, idsMED Indonesia and indoHCF have organised the Indonesia Healthcare Innovation Forum 2021 (IHIA 2021), which was held in conjunction with the celebration of Indonesia’s 56th National Health Day.
Centred on the theme “Sehat Negeriku Tumbuh Indonesiaku”, the ongoing IHIA 2021 uses a combination of digital meetings and exhibitions through webinars, talk shows, symposiums, workshops, and innovation awards to reach its audience. The one-week forum consists of three main events, namely:
• Indonesia Healthcare Innovation Awards/IHIA V-2021,
• Indonesia Healthcare Innovation Expo/IHIE II-2021, and
• IndoHCF Annual Scientific Meeting/IASM VIII-2021
IHIA 2021 was kicked off on 22nd November 2021 with opening speeches from Dr. dr. Supriyantoro, Sp.P, MARS, the head of IndoHCF & KREKI and Ramli Laukaban, Managing Director of idsMED Indonesia, followed by a speech from Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Indonesian Minister of Health. Kunta Wibawa Dasa Negara, Secretary-General of the Indonesian Ministry of Health also delivered a keynote speech during the Opening Ceremony.
Subsequently, a panel discussion on “Kebijakan dan Strategi Implementasi Transformasi Sistem Layanan Primer” (Policies and Strategies for Implementing Primary Service System Transformation) was held. Among distinguished panelists and speakers featured on the event were:
• Prof. dr. Ascobat Gani, MPH, DR.PH.,
• drg. Kartini Rustandi, M.Kes., and
• dr. Meikyal Pontoh, M.Kes.
Over the next few days, IHIA 2021 will feature more informative discussions and webinars.
