Acquisition of Business of PT Pacific Biotekindo Intralab by idsMED Group

We are delighted to announce that IDS Medical Systems Group (idsMED) and PT Pacific Biotekindo Intralab have reached agreement for idsMED Indonesia to acquire the medical distribution business of PT Pacific Biotekindo Intralab.  The transaction will be completed on 1^st June 2017.

PT Pacific Biotekindo Intralab was incorporated in 1996.  The company has an excellent track record in medical lab services within Indonesia and is very experienced in dealing with laboratory screening & diagnostic (eg. Rapid Typhoid detection and tumor activity marker). In this space, the company holds the majority market share supplying to private hospitals including Health Clinics. PT Pacific Biotekindo Intralab currently has a staff of 108 employees headed by Suroso, majority of whom will be joining idsMED effective June 1, 2017.

This acquisition is a significant addition of a new segment for idsMED Indonesia as we expand our presence in the country, entering into the “Medical Lab” space.  Together with our existing operations, idsMED Indonesia is strengthening our leadership position in the country.
