On 31 October 2023, idsMED Singapore set up a Halloween-themed photo booth at the Office Lounge to celebrate the “spookiest” day of the year. Throughout the day, employees engaged in a photo-taking contest, aiming to capture the most creative and scariest photo for a chance to win an attractive prize. The event created an exciting atmosphere as participants experimented with different poses using the various props provided.
Simultaneously, this Halloween event also had 25 employees gathered for the third round of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity in support of Sengkang General Hospital’s (SKH) Kindness Initiative. The items created during the activity would be donated to SKH for sale at the hospital premises to raise funds to assist stateless patients with their medical expenses.
Titled “Concrete Artz”, this session provided a unique hands-on experience where employees were able to try their hands at concrete crafting - creating concrete coasters or trinket trays. This activity was led and guided by HR Executive Han Shye Wen. The participants had fun discussing various design ideas and experimenting with different patterns and colours. In addition, some colleagues attended the CSR activity wearing Halloween accessories, adding an extra layer of excitement to the occasion. During the crafting process, participants enjoyed a catered lunch in the lounge, engaging in friendly conversations while waiting for their creations to solidify. Overall, it was an enjoyable bonding experience with colleagues, combining creative activities and good food.
Special thanks to the HR team for leading and facilitating this meaningful and fun-filled session. Much appreciation also goes to the enthusiastic participants for willingly dedicating their time to volunteer and contribute to the community through these initiatives.
