On 11 January 2023, one of the three important company events was held at idsMED Taiwan. Besides the CEO town hall and Annual Country Meeting (ACM) and the AAA awards, the Year-end party is another to look forward to.
The Year-end party is usually held before the Lunar New Year which is normally in January or February. In Chinese culture, this traditional annual celebration is called Weiya. As the Year-End Party was intended to recognise employees for their hard work over the previous year, the staff would eagerly await the event as early as November and December. Although idsMED Taiwan only has 30 staff, the team is ingenious and functions well.
On 11 January 2023, idsMED Taiwan gathered at the Plum Village Japanese Cuisine Restaurant in Taipei for the Weiya and happily bonded over a delectable dinner.
idsMED Taiwan Regional Managing Director and EVP Gerald Tan and Jason Hsu, General Manager expressed their gratitude for the team‘s hard work and mentioned their expectations for idsMED Taiwan in the coming year. During the meal, Gerald served the Taiwan colleagues at his table to express his gratitude to the staff.
Although there were no artistes to host or perform for the event, the organizing committee arranged games to facilitate more cross-departmental interactions and cooperation among the staff to amplify the joyful festivities.
Aside from the prizes prepared by the company for the games, the Weiya was highlighted by the Lucky Draw. The total amount of Lucky draw prizes given away is around NT$150,000. Vick Liang won the first prize of NT$10,000 from idsMED while Chloe Su was the lucky draw winner of the NT$20,000 prize from Jason. The rest of the staff received prizes from NT$800 to NT$5,000. Everyone truly enjoyed the end of Weiya this year.
idsMED Taiwan is grateful to the management for their generosity in donating extra rich prizes and to the organising committee for arranging this memorable event.
