With the eventual ease of COVID-19 regulations, idsMED Taiwan was able to hold its Annual Awards and Appreciation (AAA) ceremony at the idsMED Taiwan office on 25 October 2022, followed by a team-building event which was held at an external venue.
With the re-opening of Taiwan borders, idsMED Group President Mr. Rufi Susanto was able to grace the occasion.
The AAA event kick-started with a speech from Mr. Jason Hsu, idsMED Taiwan General Manager. He passionately reiterated idsMED’s seven core values and emphasised the core value of Loyalty. Before passing the floor to Ms. Alice Lin, Medical Products Manager, Jason congratulated Alice for her 10-year Long Service Award. The congratulatory message, which included a heartfelt voice recording from Alice’s sister, was organised by Nancy Huang, Consulting Partner, and Daphne Lee, HR Manager, as part of the company’s sincere appreciation of Alice’s dedication over the last decade.
Afterward, Jason commenced with the HEART Award presentation ceremony, which set the mood for an appreciative atmosphere. The HEART award is given to the team member who has demonstrated exceptional idsMED CORE values such as Care, Approachability, Trustworthiness, Responsibility, etc. Each nominee’s work was showcased, and they were invited to the stage to give a short speech as the company acknowledged the exceptional qualities they manifested in the previous year.
The HEART Award was presented to Joan Lee, Inventory manager, who secured the most votes across the different departments of idsMED Taiwan. Rufi and Jason presented the award to Joan, who felt exceptionally proud of the appreciation from so many members of the Taiwan team.
To cap off the event, Rufi gave a rousing speech that further motivated the entire Taiwan team as he reiterated the importance of team cohesiveness, especially through these challenging times.
The day ended with a team-building event at the famous Party World KTV, a favorite among the Taiwanese. A sumptuous meal was served, and team members ate to their heart’s content, while others chose their favorite songs to sing. Adding to the festive atmosphere, idsMED Taiwan was organised into two unofficial teams to compete for the most entertaining performance. Team members even prepared costumes and wigs to add to the merriment of their performances.
Everyone enjoyed the culturally diverse competition as participants sang English, Chinese, and Taiwanese songs. Under Jason’s leadership, “Team B” eventually won the competition.
The AAA ceremony and team building event strengthened idsMED Taiwan’s camaraderie, and all team members eagerly look forward to next year’s event!
