On the morning of January 19th, idsMED Vietnam’s Trade Union in Hanoi joined the "0 VND Tet Fair" which was organized by the National Hospital of Pediatrics collaborating with the Red Heart Volunteers Association.
This special fair was organized to spread the warmth of the community to 1,200 disadvantaged children who are being treated at the hospital, helping them have a happy Lunar New Year holiday. Speaking at the program, Associate Professor. Dr. Tran Minh Dien - Deputy Director of the National Pediatric Hospital said, “Currently 1,700 pediatric patients are being treated at the hospital and among them there are many seriously ones who have to breathe by oxygen or ventilator. Therefore, besides ensuring the medical examination and treatment, taking care of the spiritual life of patients and their family is always one of priorities of us.
At the fair, 300 Tet gifts valued 30,600,000 VND which were donated by idsMED Vietnam’s trade union members in Hanoi were given to the poor patients’ families. In addition, idsMED Vietnam trade union supported the hospital fee for 5 families of more difficult pediatric patients 1,000,000 VND each.
Tet gifts are like lucky, healthy wishes from idsMED Vietnam’s members would like to send to the pediatric patients with the hope that they will recover and reunite soon with their families.
