Over the past two months, some regions in Indonesia have been under large-scale social restriction or Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB). Despite the restrictions, many people still have to work during the COVID-19 outbreak. One of them is the healthcare workers who are fighting in the front line against the Covid-19 outbreak.
Our doctors, nurses, and front-line staff are working around the clock to support our community and provide the best possible care for Covid-19 patients. And, they need our support. As we know, there is a thin supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) to be used by them on a daily basis.
To help address this and in line with our mission, on 7 and 8 April 2020, idsMED was fortunate to contribute 100 sets of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to two referral hospitals for COVID-19, RS Kramat 128 Jakarta and RS Mitra Keluarga Bekasi. Each hospital received 50 sets of PPE. For RS Mitra Keluarga, the help will later be distributed back to other Mitra Keluarga Hospital branches.
Thank you to all the dedicated healthcare workers at RS Kramat 128 and RS Mitra Keluarga. You are all true heroes of our time! Also, thank you to the idsMED Jakarta FSS team, especially idsMED Duo Firman Hasan and Firmanika Intan for such remarkable effort and commitment, and all those who helped with the distribution process. We believe that every small contribution we make will snowball into something bigger.
