idsMED Hong Kong Annual Country Meeting 2019

A Day of Unity. We connect. We team up. And we move forward.


The long-awaited HK ACM 2019 brought the HK team together on 28 June 2019. It was a creative, passionate, and fun-filled day that truly bonded the 25 HK members together as one family. It was a special day for the HK Team – a day of team spirit, team communication and team building.

Our MD Gerald Tan started the day with a set of reflexive questions to the team, setting the tone for a day driven by companions & family, positivity & resolutions, motivation & faith. A video of Nick Vujicic, a man born without limbs, inspired the team that impossible is possible. Next the FSS GM James Wong gave an overview of the HK plan to ensure the team was aligned with the future direction. The morning session finished with a lively group discussion and presentation on how to achieve target this year.

The afternoon session was Master Chef idsMED edition! We were divided into 5 teams to compete for the Best Chef Medal which was not awarded based on the taste of the dishes BUT on team collaboration, crisis management and conflict resolution. The kitchen was full of noises and laughter – shouting of “Yes, CHEF!”, chopping of ingredients, sizzling of the Spanish Paella, and so on. The team had so much fun that the focus was no longer on winning but to work together as a team! The HK team is ready to embark on a new journey!
