In its continual pursuit of reinforcing employee connections, idsMED organised a wide range of engaging activities across its Southeast Asian countries. Each event that was thoughtfully planned not only stands as a testament to idsMED’s steadfast commitment to its workforce but also serves as a platform for nurturing fellowship, interaction, and enduring bonds beyond conventional work. This October, dive into the standout moments where idsMED put a spotlight on employee gatherings and interactions that truly made a difference.
Fun and Engaging Get-Together Events: Bridging Work and Play
idsMED Malaysia threw a lively gathering to celebrate Malaysia’s 66th Independence Day that truly captured the spirit of the nation. The event, filled with patriotic energy, not only recognised the historical significance of the day but also brought employees together through shared traditions and friendly competitions.
From the patriotic spirit of Malaysia, we move to idsMED Indonesia which in contrast took a bold step outside the ordinary with its "After-Hours Horror Watch Party." This unique event brought employees from different branches together to enjoy the spine-chilling movie "Five Nights at Freddy’s." Beyond just watching a movie, the gathering aimed to create a casual space for interaction and camaraderie, allowing colleagues to connect on a personal level.
In the same spirit of camaraderie, idsMED Philippines embraced Halloween with a dynamic hybrid celebration. Onsite employees dressed up in creative costumes and played games, while their virtual colleagues took part in the "Creepy Photo Wall" and "Decorate Your RespoKare Mask" competitions. Following the theme "No Tricks, Only Treat," the event not only fostered friendship through playful interactions but also demonstrated the company’s adaptability in seamlessly blending physical and virtual elements for inclusive celebrations.
Transformative Gatherings: Igniting Unity and Purpose
Switching gear from the fun and frolic of their counterparts, idsMED Thailand gathered its employees for a merit ceremony graced by revered monks to bless the company before the start of its MD Townhall session on 3 October 2023. After the blessings and lunch, the townhall meeting began with Mr. Paithoon Pureethip, Thailand MD and SVP, delivering SP 2024-26 "High Performance! High Purpose!"
Down south, its counterpart idsMED Singapore took a holistic approach to strengthen connections and inspire creativity among its employees with other activities. They ranged from an insightful "Lunch and Learn" session on mental well-being to a Halloween photo contest and a CSR crafting activity. These events not only added fun and excitement to the workplace but also contributed to overall work culture enhancement.
Finally, idsMED Vietnam engaged its employees in a sustainability program through the launch of its "GO GREEN" initiative. Seeking ideas from staff to reduce its ecological footprint and operational expenses, this forward-thinking approach positions idsMED Vietnam as a pioneer in sustainable practices within the industry, showcasing a deep dedication to environmental responsibility.
These activities organised by the six idsMED countries across Southeast Asia have exemplified their commitment to cultivating a sense of shared identity, collaboration, and pride across the idsMED family.
